Do you want to affiliate with my website? If so, I'm more than happy to accept you offer, as long as it complies with the following guidelines:

1) Your forum/site does not have to be about chess. Chess-related forums/sites do, however, have double the chance of appearing on the affiliates box, as the box is located on a chess-related website.

2) In order to become an affiliate, you will need the following:
a) A link to your forum/website (and no, you won't be penalised for advertising).
b ) A 20-30 word description of your site (for the affiliates page)
c) A 100x35-pixel image (for the affiliates box)

If you don't have a valid description, your site won't appear on the affiliates page; if you don't have a correctly sized image, it won't appear in the affiliates box. If you have neither, I won't process your request.

3) Your site must not include any material, or links to material, that is profane or adult in any way. Self-explanatory.

4) If you want me to link to your site, you must link back either to my forum or my website. If you fail to comply with this guideline, you are defeating the whole purpose of affiliation (two or more people link to each other's sites). If you give me an affiliation request that complies with all of the guidelines, and I process it, I will check your site 24 hours after processing for a link back to my website/forum; if I cannot find one, I will remove the link to your site.

5) Please post requests here or PM them to me, with the description and banner. You're also allowed to e-mail the requests to me, however those requests are less likely to be processed, as I don't check my e-mail account as often as I check my PM inbox. Affiliation requests that aren't posted here, PM'd to me or e-mailed to me will be ignored.

6) If you advertise a great forum/website, I may approach you with an affiliation request. If I do so, then you may use your own guidelines.
